“The Pound” is the story of a small dog’s, Lily, stay in the town pound. There, Lily makes friends with abandoned dogs such as Hound, independent cats such as Mister and adopts a kitten called Snowy as it was her own puppy. Life in this small and closed universe, under the vet and his helpers, is not at all easy.
“The Pound” is more than just a critical story and is a tale of friendship, solidarity and, finally, freedom, without overlooking the accurate and reliable description of a terrible situation, whose only escape is usually death.
